Confinement during Covid-19 stay-at-home orders have been and continue to be a challenge for many. Some folks have become couch potatoes. In the US, many are turning to fill their time by binge-watching their favorite shows and discovering new ones on the various streaming services.
I decided to start this blog, and as you can see I have been writing about a wide variety of subjects. I’m
amazed at the number of people I have been able to reach via this medium. As of this posting date, my readers are in over 40 countries and
counting. I am a bit puzzled
about two countries that appear on my blog statistics. One is called Unknown, and the other one is called Other. Maybe I was absent from school that day in Geography class and missed learning about them. What do you think?
Incense and Peppermints
My friend Daniela, who is a chef, sommelier, and plastic
artist in Tijuana, Mexico, has been creating new recipes and menus for her clandestine
restaurant La Cocina Secreta. On
top of that, she has created and been selling a number of cookbooks. She also recently launched her newest venture
Pacha, which specializes in incense packets.
And did I mention, she’s been doing illustrations for an upcoming children’s book?
Protective Masks
Another friend has gotten busy and started sewing masks for
all of her loved ones, friends old and young.
So far she has made over 500 masks and counting. Bravo!
Children's Animations
The creativity bug caught another friend who created little stop motion animations for children.

Travel Video Collage
Patrick created another gorgeous video collage of his travel photos and videos, that he set to music and posted on YouTube. For more of his creations click here.
